A look at some of Mario Kart’s most crowning achievements.

It took me several attempts to perfect this list to my tastes. Having played every entry in the series (some more extensively others), I had to sift through a list of 120 tracks and reduce it down to just the ten I love most. Repeatedly I had to start over, unsatisfied with every draft until I finally came up with this one. So without further ado, here it is: my top ten Mario Kart courses of all time!

Dual Review: Mario Kart 64 & Mickey’s Speedway USA

A detailed look at some of my favorite N64 racing games.

Mario Kart 64 was one of the biggest games to hit the Nintendo 64. For the first time ever, up to four players could race each other at the same time thanks to the N64’s four controller ports. The game was also Mario Kart’s first foray into fully 3D environments, allowing for more creative track designs than ever before. It was the step up from Super Mario Kart everyone wanted, and it delivered masterfully. I remember playing for hours on end with my brother, and to this day, it remains one of my favorite Nintendo 64 games to revisit.

Nintendo 64 Games: Remake Them

Here are some N64 games that should be remade in 3D…

Today, Japan gets Starfox 64 3D, making it the title the third Nintendo 64 remake for the 3DS after Ocarina of Time and Rayman. But why stop there? Okay, I know most of us are sick and tired of Nintendo 64 remakes because the N64 really isn’t that old. But it doesn’t stop us from wondering. What other N64 games would look great on the 3DS?
